Directions: Simcoe Rd 90 west out of Barrie; North on George Johnson Road to just south of Snow Valley Road. Destination on the Left.
Description: The Huronia Lookout provides views extending 40 km, including those of the entire Minesing Wetlands, the Niagara Escarpment, Blue Mountain, Georgian Bay, the Oro Ridge Moraine, the Village of Minesing and the Ancient Glacial Lake Algonquin Shoreline, as well as the rural landscape featuring boreal and Carolinian forests. The Huronia Lookout lies in very close proximity to the Fort Willow Depot and connects to the North Simcoe Rail-trail.

Currently there are trails for hiking in all seasons and once complete, the lookout will be a place for visitors to learn, understand and celebrate the heritage, culture, economy, environment and recreation of the Huronia area.
